LDPS - Licentiateship of the Disabled Photographers Society
I joined The DPS (Disabled Photographers Society) in September 2019. I have Fibromyalgia, now a registered disability, along with ME/CFS. I learnt that the DPS have their own set of distinctions akin to the RPS (Royal Photographic Society). There were no membership time restrictions so I applied for their LDPS (Licentiateship) within a few weeks of joining.
Their definition is 'images of a high standard of photographic execution – achievable for most dedicated photographers. Applicants must show variety in approach and techniques but not necessarily in subject matter.'
